Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 81.
Our pack meetings are normally held at 6:15 pm on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at Kocurek Elementary. Pack 81 is part of the Thunderbird District, which belongs to the Capitol Area Council based in Austin, Texas. If you are in kindergarten through the 5th grade and would like to have lots of fun camping, fishing, hiking, going on cool trips (spending a night on the USS Lexington aircraft carrier), building and racing cars, launching rockets, and meeting new friends…then Cub Scout Pack 81 is looking for YOU!

What is Cub Scouts about?
- Cub Scouting promotes: self-worth, imagination, self-discipline, team-work, cooperation, importance of family & friends, good citizenship and much, much more.
What kind of things do Cub Scouts do?
- We go camping 4 times per year where the whole family can go and participate.
- There are skills that Cub Scouts learn while having fun as well as making new friends, and learning about the world around them. There are many opportunities for the scouts and their families to enjoy the outdoors and each other. You and your child get the chance to experience all kinds of new and adventurous things.
Don’t have camping gear, don’t worry, we can tell you what you need to camp for the first time.
