Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 81.

Our pack meetings are held at 6:30 pm on the 4th Thursday of every month at Kocurek Elementary. Pack 81 is part of the Thunderbird District, which belongs to the Capitol Area Council based in Austin, Texas.  If you live in Austin, or plan to come to Austin, please contact us from our Contact Page for general comments or information about joining our Pack.

Is that you??  Are you the one we’re looking for??

If you are in the 1st -5th grade and would like to have lots of fun going camping, fishing, hiking, going on cool trips (spending a night on the USS Lexington aircraft carrier), building cars and racing them and meeting new friends…then Cub Scout Pack 81 is looking for YOU!

Now is the perfect time for you to sign up for Cub Scouts and have fun all year round!

What is Cub Scouts about?

  • Cub Scouting promotes: self-worth, self-discipline, team-work, cooperation, importance of family, good citizenship and much, much more.
What kind of things do Cub Scouts do?
  • We go camping at least 3 times per year where the whole family can go and participate.
  • There are skills that Cub Scouts learn while having fun as well as making new friends, and learning about the world around them.  There are many opportunities for the boys and their families to enjoy the outdoors and each other.  You and your son get the chance to experience all kinds of new and adventurous things.

Don’t have camping gear, don’t worry, we will get you what you need to camp for the first time.

Come and Join in on the FUN!

4th Thursday of each month from 6:00 pm to 7:30pm in the Kocurek Elementary Cafeteria
